NYC Jet Ski Tours. You Drive. Your Guide Leads the Way.
Drive your own jet ski past the Statue of Liberty, under the Brooklyn Bridge, and alongside the Manhattan skyline. Your guide is on their own jet ski, feet away — not shouting through a megaphone.
This isn’t a boat tour. You are not a passenger on someone else’s itinerary. You’re on your own jet ski, carving through New York Harbor with the full Manhattan skyline in front of you and the Statue of Liberty close enough to see her face.
We launch from Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City, directly across from Battery Park and the 9/11 Memorial. Located minutes away from the Statue of Liberty you are seeing amazing sights before you even leave the dock.

What You Actually Get
You drive your own jet ski
Not a passenger on a ferry. Not a passenger on cruise with hundreds of strangers. Your own jet ski, throttle in your hand. Solo or tandem — you choose the adventure.
Closest marina to Lady Liberty
Most NYC operators launch from Hoboken or south Brooklyn and burn 30–60 minutes reaching the Statue. We launch from Liberty Landing Marina, directly across the harbor. Enjoy stunning views right from the start.
Highest-rated jet ski tour in NYC
4.9 stars across 2,500+ reviews on Google, Tripadvisor, Yelp, Trustpilot, and Facebook. Guests review their guides by name. That’s the level of service we provide.

Started in 2015 With Three Jet Skis. Now in Our 11th Season.
Sea the City was founded in 2015 by a lifelong New Yorker with 30 years of harbor experience. We started with three jet skis and a simple idea: nobody should come to NYC and only see it from a tour bus or a ferry. Twelve seasons later we run a fleet of 16 skis and take thousands of guests across the harbor every year — first-timers, locals, bachelor parties, and corporate groups from Amazon, Mercedes-Benz, and Bank of America.
Our guides aren’t seasonal interns. They’re New Yorkers who’ve done hundreds of circuits — some of them thousands.
The Sea the City Jet Ski Fleet
- 16 jet ski fleet
- 55 mph top speed — NOT throttle-limited
- Up to two riders per ski (400 lb combined)
- Season runs April through December

“Jordan our tour guide was AWESOME. I highly recommend going all the way around Manhattan — the 2.5 hour tour is the one to do.”
“Nothing comes close to jet skiing under the Brooklyn Bridge, past the Statue of Liberty, and around Governors Island. Worth every dollar.”
