CELEBRATE YOUR ANNIVERSARY WITH A THRILLING & ROMANTIC JET SKI TOUR FOR 2
Your anniversary is coming up, and you want to do something truly unique to celebrate it. Looking for things to do in NYC for an anniversary will present a seemingly never-ending list of options. But you aren’t interested in doing anything typical, so you can toss out the fancy restaurants, along with looking at anniversary party venues in NYC. What’s left? Way more fun than you could ever imagine!
Unique Things to do for Anniversary NYC
When you’re looking for romantic things to do in NYC for an anniversary but want to avoid anything cliché, your best bet is to carefully consider the following options. Each of them is guaranteed to make your spouse or partner have the time of their life.
1. Hot Tub Boat Tour of NYC
Perhaps being out on the water appeals to you, but going fast isn’t your speed. In this scenario, renting a hot tub boat for the two of you is the height of romance! Slip into the immaculately maintained hot tub and feel your worries melt away. You’ll get lost in the moment together as the boat sets sail on the Hudson River. BYOB and listen to music via the provided Bluetooth speakers. You’ll also get to see some of the most impressive sites in New York City.
2. Walk Across the Brooklyn Bridge Hand-in-Hand
Every date has room to squeeze in a lovely romantic stroll over one of the most easily recognizable bridges in the world. Take a 1.1-mile walk at your own pace from Manhattan into Brooklyn. Join the 30,000 other pedestrians to cross the bridge on your special day. Not only will you have the opportunity to snap frame-worthy photographs, but this is one anniversary date that won’t cost you a penny. In other words, it will make the perfect bookend for jet skiing or going on a hot tub boat experience.
3. Jet Ski Rental from Sea the City
An anniversary jet ski tour is the ideal solution if the two of you love the exhilarating experience of a water time adventure! Just imagine the fun you could have as you ride a jet ski up and down the Hudson River together. Toss in the several awe-inspiring sites you’ll see along the way, and you know that this will be a romantic jet ski tour that neither of you will ever forget.
4. Helicopter Tour Over the City
Before or after your jet ski rental or hot tub boat tour, why not amp up the romance with a helicopter tour over NYC? The ride will only last 15 minutes, but it’ll give you a completely different view of sites such as Central Park and the Statue of Liberty. If you’re trying to put together a super date, adding on a helicopter tour is a great choice. Of course, doing this tour alone wouldn’t be long enough to truly celebrate your anniversary.
5. Learn How to Make Each Other Dinner
Finally, rather than go out for dinner and a movie, put an exciting twist on a cliched theme by enrolling in a cooking class together. Take away the typical boring classroom environment, though, by hopping right into your teacher’s home kitchen. That’s right; EatWith will teach you how to make Italian food and then take you up to the rooftop so you can enjoy it together.
The Sights You’ll See While Jet Skiing in New York
There is something extra special about taking a date night jet ski tour. You can choose from a one or two-hour magical adventure on the East River and Hudson River. It’s definitely the right choice for a thrill-seeking couple, so if you both crave an adrenaline rush, this will be right up your alley! It also happens to be one of the more affordable options on the list above.
Meet us just across the border at Liberty Landing Marina in New Jersey. We’ll host basic jet skiing and safety training for approximately 10-15 minutes, then away you’ll go!
